The steep, slate-rich Wehlener Sonnenuhr gives Prüm’s wine remarkable precision and minerality, balancing its ripe fruit and natural sweetness. The 2022 is deep, concentrated, and beautifully crystalline, showing white peach, candied lime, pear, bergamot, honeysuckle, smoke, and wet slate. Despite its sweetness, the wine feels remarkably fresh and energetic, finishing saline and almost dry.
